It was great to see so many friends and colleagues last week at the UPCEA National Conference in Boston. I was able to attend a lot of great sessions. Jessica DuPont and Jim Fong's session: Strategic Alignment of the CE Marketing Department was a standout. I was also able to introduce attendees to the theme for this year's Marketing Seminar: Stake Your Claim - Exploring and Expanding Your Role in the New Frontier of Marketing
1 Comment - My neck is now sore from nodding in agreement as I read this post. We are preparing budgets and trying to balance existing programs that want to grow with new endeavors and ever-changing directives from all directions
The planning committee for the 2013 Marketing Seminar just wrapped up our in-person planning meeting at the Hyatt Regency in Austin, Texas (the location of the 2013 Marketing Seminar). I wanted to start a blog as part of my role as chair of the 2013 Marketing Seminar

How do I add contacts to my contact list?...What communities do I already belong to? How do I join/subscribe to a community? How can I control the frequency and format of emails I receive CORe?
As the Internet is getting "faster" and cell signals have supposedly improved, our demand often creates logjams and clutter in both the cellular and Internet pipelines. In 2006, I did a presentation on technology and reported that I had an Internet speed of 800 Kps. Today, I am supposed to have in upwards of 30 Mbs. However, as a digital society, we've added more users and these users have been transmitting more data (see Netflix growth ) at a higher rate. As a result, I may not be receiving that much better of an experience as I had in 2006
I am looking for the ppt or sheet on facts for ce to use here during a prof. development thing
Let me begin by saying that I am a hardcore fan of traditional classroom style teaching. As a facilitator I get energy from the exchange that happens when I interact in-person with the students
Interestingly enough, the data shows that Californians are leaving the state and influencing the population make up of some many other states. Good stuff and I love a good map!
